Trigona Panoramatos

Baklava filled with Custard Cream

Trigono Panoramatos Trigona Panoramatos - Triangles of Panorama - is a speciality of Thessaloniki (Panorama is a suburb of the city), although you can probably find it other places in Greece.

Triangle balkava is filled with custard cream.

As a concept, it is not very far from Glaktoboureko, but in this case the custard part is made with an addition of semolina flour and the cream is baked with pie sheet, while the custard cream of trigona is without or with much less flour (corn flour instead of semolina perhaps?) and it was filled into alread baked baklavas.
